Recording Summaries No Longer Fabricate Content From Empty Audio
April 6, 2026
We've fixed an issue where recordings with no real speech could show fabricated meeting summaries.
What was happening
In some cases, a recording that contained only background noise, silence, or other non-speech audio could still generate a detailed meeting summary. Those summaries could include invented client names, portfolio discussions, and action items that were not actually said.
What we fixed
Recordings without meaningful speech no longer produce fabricated summaries. When there isn’t enough real audio to summarize, the conversation is clearly labeled as having no meaningful audio and the summary reflects that, instead of making up meeting details.
Where to find it
- Go to Portal
- Select Conversations
- Open a conversation with a recording to view its title and summary
