No more phantom edits when opening a snapshot
May 14, 2026
Viewing a snapshot no longer bumps its "last edited" timestamp or adds empty entries
What was happening
When you opened certain snapshots—especially switching from a snapshot with entries to one without—Advisor Terminal could treat the view as an edit. This could bump the snapshot’s Last edited timestamp even though you didn’t change anything.
In some cases, an empty placeholder entry could also appear after simply viewing the snapshot.
What we fixed
Viewing a snapshot no longer counts as an edit. The Last edited timestamp stays the same unless you actually make changes, and opening a snapshot won’t create empty entries.
Where to find it
- Go to Portal
- Select Snapshots
- Open any snapshot (including one with no entries)
