FeatureSnapshots
Capture will details, executor info, POA, digital assets, and care preferences in one place
What's new
A new Estate Review section inside Snapshots helps you capture better decision-making context that often gets missed in standard discovery or review meetings.
Estate details change over time. This makes it easier to keep the right information on file, spot gaps early, and run more complete, more valuable client conversations.
Will details
- Whether the client has a will
- When it was last updated
- Where it's stored (for example, a lawyer's office)
- Whether there have been major life changes since it was last reviewed
- Whether it still reflects the client's current wishes
Executor information
- Primary executor name
- Relationship to the client
- Whether the executor is aware of their role
Digital assets
- Whether the client has a plan for digital assets (online accounts, cloud storage, social media, crypto)
- Whether someone knows how to access critical digital information (passwords, devices, key accounts)
Power of Attorney
- Financial POA: yes or no, sole or joint, appointed attorney, last updated year
- Healthcare POA: yes or no, sole or joint, appointed attorney, last updated year
- Whether the client is acting as POA for someone else, with space to capture responsibilities and concerns
Long-term care and incapacity preferences
- Where the client would prefer to receive care
- How important it is to remain in their current home, even if it's costly
- Whether they've discussed "quality of life" expectations with decision-makers
- Whether religious, cultural, or personal values should guide healthcare decisions
Why this matters
This section gives you a clearer estate lens on the household, so you can:
- Catch gaps early (outdated documents, missing POAs, unclear executor awareness, no digital plan)
- Identify key individuals in the client's life and capture them consistently
- Drive better next steps across planning, insurance, beneficiary reviews, and professional coordination
Where to find it
- Open the client's Snapshot
- Scroll down to the Estate Review section
- Work through the prompts conversationally
- Use any gaps you find to set immediate follow-ups (document refresh, lawyer referral, POA review, beneficiary audit)
