Archived Clients No Longer Appear in Recording Selector

Archived clients are now hidden from the recording link dropdown.

What was happening

Archived clients could still appear in the Client Selector on a recording. This made it possible to link a recording to a client you’ve already archived, without any clear indication that the client was no longer active.

What we fixed

Archived clients no longer appear in the Client Selector dropdown when you’re linking a recording.

If a recording is already linked to an archived client, the client name still displays so you can understand the existing link, but it’s clearly marked as archived and the selector is disabled to prevent accidental changes.

Where to find it

  1. Go to Portal
  2. Select Conversations
  3. Open any recording
  4. Use the Client Selector
