What was happening

• In some cases, Generate Link in an entity’s Vault didn’t do anything.
• Security codes were hard to work with: copying could add extra spaces, and pasting didn’t always behave as expected.
• In light mode, parts of the client upload security screen could be difficult to read.

What we fixed

• Generate Link works reliably from an entity’s Vault, so you can create an upload link without guessing whether the button will respond.
• Security codes copy and paste cleanly (no extra spaces), making it easier to send a code by email, chat, or notes.
• Codes display in uppercase to reduce confusion when reading them out loud (for example, over the phone). Existing codes still work.
• Pasting codes with dashes works—the input accepts formats like ABCD-EF12 without you needing to retype it.
• Light mode text is readable in the client upload security step.
