What was happening

When you pasted a phone number that started with 1 (for example, 1-800… or +1…), the number could save incorrectly—sometimes dropping or rearranging digits. In the Contact List, the leading 1 could also disappear, making some numbers look incomplete at a glance.

What we fixed

Pasting North American numbers now keeps the digits intact, including the leading 1 when it’s part of the number. Phone numbers also display consistently in lists and in the contact detail panel, so 1-800 numbers remain clearly labeled with the 1 prefix.
